Introduction to ArcGIS II

This 3 day course focuses on the analytical functions of ArcView including buffers, overlays, spatial joins, dissolve, select by attribute and select by spatial relation. The raster data format will be explored and some of its additional analytical capabilities (e.g. reclassify, map algebra, cost surfaces and least cost path). Also skills in map layout will be further developed. Prerequisite: Introduction to GIS I or previous experience. Required text: “Getting to Know ArcGIS Desktop ArcEditor.”
