First Nations
We, at CRMLTD are proud of our legacy of working with First Nations. We are extensively involved with the First Nations and have earned a reputation for providing excellent GIS services. We work with bands and tribes throughout North America from the Khowutzun Tribe on Vancouver Island to the Acho Dene Koe in the Northwest Territories. CRMLTD recognizes the unique identity, needs and requirements of individual tribes and bands, and have specifically poised ourselves to meet each with enthusiasm, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
Some of our First Nation clients include:
Acho Dene Koe – On-site GIS Training, Referral and Base data gathering, creating map- templates. Also includes hardware and software for data gathering of culturally sensitive locations for referral purposes. We also write proposals for technical data packages that the ADK can use as references to submit for funding allocation
Khowutzun – Plan, Implement, Manage, and Train an entire GIS and its staff. This project included training facilitating the GIS to be managed wholly in-house
Gwawaenuk –GIS Training in our classroom. From basics of GIS to advanced skillsets advantageous to running an autonomous GIS
Iisaak – Plan, Implement, and Manage the GIS for forestry in Clayoquot. Includes publishing of Forest Stewardship Plan maps, and other services such as planning, and operational mapping and analyses. Entirely managed by CRMLTD
Mamook - Plan, Implement, and Manage the GIS for forestry in Clayoquot. Includes publishing of Forest Stewardship Plan maps, and other services such as planning, and operational mapping and analyses. We also submit, on their behalf, permit applications for road work and block work. Entirely managed by CRMLTD
Gwa'Nak - Plan, Implement, and Manage the GIS for forestry in the North Island, Central Coast. Includes publishing of Forest Stewardship Plan maps, and other services such as planning, and operational mapping and analyses. We also prepare the spatial data for permit applications. Entirely managed by CRMLTD.
San Carlos Apache – Plan, Implement, and Manage a GIS Server. The server delivers GIS Internet mapping as a cost-effective solution to delivering mission-critical operational data to managers and their staff.
Ahousaht – Provide Analyses, Mapping, and Data Collection services
Aboriginal Affairs and Treaty Issues, Province of BC – Provide mapping and digitizing services in support of First Nations referral and treaty processes.
